A Chinese Blanc de Chine figure of Damo

A Chinese, Blanc de Chine, figure of Damo; C17 - very early 18th. Dehua kiln. The figure depicts Da Mo crossing the Yangzi, and his journey to the West, with only one shoe.
 
A large figure, 36 cm tall.
 
The condition of this figure is good, with only some fritting and original firing flaws.
 
An identical depiction of Damo may be found in the British Museum.
It was bequeathed to the museum by Patick J Donnelly and is, conservatively, dated as C18th.
